"My wife and I moved back into the area from out of state and found out our auto insurance rates were almost doubling! I was tired of dealing with the online quotes so I decided to stop into the office in Maysville. "UPDATE: We had not yet taken initiative to find a new insurance agency but we will be without a doubt now. Our rates seemed to even out for a while, and last month our bill was bigger but wasn't TOO excessive so I tried not to get too upset. But this month, it went up even more! I am adding the photo from our April bill where this agent continues to increase prices. It's absolute nonsense. I've been with State Farm since I can remember and this has never happened to me before, but this agent is so greedy. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. They will take you for everything you have.

Original review: Ever since someone new has stepped in to take over this office, we were charged $77 extra on our July bill with absolutely no reason because we have not made any new changes at all! And one of our vehicles that we had been paying liability only on has almost tripled in cost for two months in a row now. It makes no sense. WATCH OUT FOR THIS BRANCH! We will be demanding answers and moving our business elsewhere. Seems like someone is money hungry and assumes citizens of this community to be fools.

Photos show the ridiculous reason they tried to use to justify charging us $77 extra, and what we had been paying on one of our trucks vs what they've started charging us starting in July."

"Again, we are sorry that you have experienced a change in your bill however we do not change or alter bills at the office/agency level. It seems that you have added a new, youthful driver to your policy which will affect the rating and billing amount on your vehicles. I have experienced this firsthand myself as I have a new, youthful driver in my home as well. As mentioned in the previous answer to your comment we will work with you at the office level to help you to understand these changes, please give us a call today 606-564-4900 so that we can help to determine the next step moving forward. -Stephanie"

"I felt as if I was drowning in insurance payments. I came from Ohio to Kentucky and I had very reasonable insurance rates because we all have great driving records and when moving to Kentucky the prices shot through the roof. We were able to get started and right away, I was confident this was going to work out. Still not as cheap as Ohio but much better and I now have all of my policies with one agent instead of 3. Great experience!!"

"I recently put in a claim for water damage. I have called to find out about my claim and when it would be settled. Have not received a return phone call. I kinda wish they would do better at keeping me posted. I am older and sleeping on a mattress on my living room floor."
